Suspension of Services During the New Year Holidays

TUFS will suspend counter services from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 to Sunday, January 4, 2026. We ask for your cooperation during this period of suspended services and restricted access to campus buildings.
?(1) Suspension of Counter Services and Certificate Issuance
All counter services and certificate issuance will be suspended during the following period:
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – Sunday, January 4, 2026
* Issuance dates for various certificates are as indicated in “(2) Types of Certificates / Number of Days Required for Issuance" on the relevant page.
(2) Restrictions on Entry to Campus Buildings
Entry to all buildings on Fuchu Campus will be restricted due to the New Year holidays.
- From December 24 (Wed.) to December 27 (Sat.), 2025, entry is possible with an IC card (staff ID card).
- From December 28 (Sun.) to January 3 (Sat.), 2026, entry will not be permitted even with an IC card. Those who must enter during this period must register in the special entry logbook at the Security Office on the 1st floor of the Administration Building. After registration, a security guard will accompany you to unlock the door.
(3) Closure of Student Support Facilities
The ?following student support facilities will be closed during the period below:
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – Sunday, January 4, 2026
- Student Counseling Center
- Student Mobility Center (Tobita Center)
- Global Career Center
- Volunteer Action Space (VOLAS)
- Health Care Center
- Academic Support Center (TAFUSAPO)
- English Language Learning Center (ELC)
During this period, from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 to 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, you may contact the Loneliness and Isolation Consultation Dial #9999, operated by the Cabinet Secretariat’s Loneliness and Isolation Office: https://notalone-cas.go.jp/toitsu/
(4) Library Closure
The TUFS Library will be completely closed during the following period:
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – Sunday, January 4, 2026
*Requests made via My Library for courier check-out, TLL, book loan, photocopying, and letters of introduction during this period will be processed on or after Monday, January 5, 2026.
(5) Closure of University Hall Facilities
The following University Hall facilities will be closed during the period below:
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – Sunday, January 4, 2026
- 1st Floor Cafeteria “Meal”
- 2nd Floor Cafeteria “Sabooru”
- Bookstore “Hatch Potch”
- Special Cafeteria (2nd Floor)

(6) Emergency Contact Information
During?the New Year holidays, counter services and telephone reception will be suspended. For urgent matters, please contact the Security Office at 042-330-5419.
